Plataninas are plantain experts in Quebec! They offer artisanal plantain banana products. They use Quebec spices and their products contain no preservatives or artificial flavor enhancers.
Hugo and Melissa, father and daughter, are the founders of Plataninas which began their journey in 2017 when they sought to learn about the many uses and benefits that Mother Nature has offered to this fruit-vegetable. Initially, they experimented with plantain chips that were unlike any other: they had a longitudinal cut, no palm oil, and original flavor. The initial two flavors introduced were Louisiana Sunshine and Crazy Caribbean which became immediately popular. These are some of Lola's favorites! Can you guess why ?
Since then, they've created more than ten unique varieties, in addition to other plantain banana-based products.
