Island Organix's mission statement is truly commendable, as it not only prioritizes creating delicious baked goods but also focuses on giving back to the community.
Island Organix uses traditional Jamaican recipes to create its baked goods, infusing them with exotic flavors and spices that are unique to the Caribbean region. Examples of some of its popular items include Jamaican patties, coconut drops, and gingerbread. Lola's personal favorites : the black rum spice cake and the Jamaican patties. She also has enjoyed the bread, the raisin bread, the Kola Champagne soda (and Lola's Boyz even told her said "Mom, it tastes so different and it's good").
Island Organix's use of high-quality ingredients, the bakery ensures that its customers are getting the best possible products without any harmful additives or preservatives.
The bakery's dedication to supporting local and regional food industries by sourcing ingredients from Quebec and Canadian producers is also noteworthy. By doing so, Island Organix is contributing to the growth of local businesses as well as contributing to conversations around Caribbean cuisine.
