👩🏾🍳I remember the first time I tasted jerk chicken, it was pure *spicy* heaven, with a hint of sweetness from the brown suga.

Materials
- baking dish OR grilling pan
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 2 garlic cloves
- half an onion, thinly cut
- thyme (fresh or dried)
- 5 Spices
- 1-2 scotch bonnet pepper
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4-6 pieces of chicken
Directions
- wash & prep your chicken with vinegar, lime, rinse
- Put all seasonings in a processor, with olive oil and soy sauce
- In a deep bowl, combine chicken with marinade mix
- Cover with plastic wrap for 10-12 hours
Frying chicken
- add some oil, start frying your chicken making sure to turn on each side
- let fry on each side for at least 5-8 mins.
