 👩🏾‍🍳I remember the first time I tasted jerk chicken,  it was pure *spicy* heaven, with a hint of sweetness from the brown suga.

  • baking dish OR grilling pan 
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp  ginger powder
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • half an onion, thinly cut
  • thyme (fresh or dried) 
  • 5 Spices 
  • 1-2 scotch bonnet pepper
  • pinch of salt 
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4-6 pieces of chicken 
  • wash & prep your chicken with vinegar, lime, rinse
  • Put all seasonings in a processor, with olive oil and soy sauce
  • In a deep bowl, combine chicken with marinade mix
  • Cover with plastic wrap for 10-12 hours

Frying chicken 

  • add some oil, start frying your chicken making sure to turn on each side 
  • let fry on each side for at least 5-8 mins.
